Garden State (Music from the Motion Picture)

Released 2004

The soundtrack for Garden State is one of the very first no-skip albums I can recall falling in love with, and it introduced me to The Shins and my all-time favorite song, Don't Panic by Coldplay. I was obsessed with this movie in high school and checked it out from the video store so many times. I even had some LiveJournal icons for some of my favorite moments.

I was also able to extract some audio elements from the flash files on the site, including this audio clip of Zach Braff thanking the fans who engaged with him on the Garden State message board and Natalie Portman talking about filming Garden State after Star Wars.
