I'm closing in on the one year anniversary of this website and trying to think about some things I can do to celebrate. I have a growing list of pages I want to make - dedicated shrine pages for my favorite perfumes, a daily perfume diary to track what I'm wearing, an interactive Pee-wee Herman colorform to kick off finally digitizing my massive Pee-wee collection, a page for my new obsession with Field Notes notebooks, and a Wikipedia log that tracks all of the Wikipedia articles I read, save, or edit. I'm also looking at integrating with Are.na's newly launched API after taking inspiration from Matt Prebeg's website. I created my first channel on the site for my favorite office supplies, and I'm thinking of throwing them into one of my virtual desk drawers which means finally figuring out where to move my physical media guide. I've been working on a zine version of the PMG for a while and might try to get that finished in time for my anniversary on the 31st. I also joined PI.FYI, and finally sort of jumped on the Substack bandwagon. I'm trying to figure out how to broaden my reach to engage with interesting people doing cool things while retaining some sense of autonomy over my Internet identity and experience, but mostly I've been feeling like logging off entirely. I seem to ebb and flow between creation and consumption, and lately it's mostly been consumption so it's time to get my creative juices flowing again!
